In statements to Mehr news agency, Bagherzadeh, who is also a member of the Parliamentary Health and Treatment Committee, harshly criticized the World Health Organization (WHO), the Red Cross, and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Unfortunately, he noted, the Israeli aggression against Iran demonstrated that several global institutions had become “political instruments of the great powers.”
Not only did they remain silent in the face of crimes against women and children, but they also refused to issue a single statement, he noted.
Bagherzadeh condemned the attacks “on ambulances, emergency centers, and the Iranian broadcasting service,” which he considered a clear violation of international conventions.
He underscored that Western powers, led by the United States, not only ignored these laws but practically became the perpetrators of the crime.
