The event, organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs until June 23, will be held simultaneously with the tenth Africa Public Service Day.
Representatives from Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States from all over the continent will participate, Civil Service Commissioner Mekuria Haile said
He specified that the forum aims to discuss ways to provide inclusive and people-centered service based on innovation, in addition to increasing citizen participation and awareness, expanding oversight capacity, reducing corruption and ensuring accountability.
Haile stated that it is convened under the project “Innovating Public Service Delivery to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Transfer and Adaptation of Omnichannel Approaches.”
Omnichannel refers to a customer-centric approach that integrates all channels, offering a unified and consistent brand experience across physical stores, apps and websites.
