Iran’s Nuclear Security System Center announced that “following the criminal US attack on the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities,” it immediately conducted the necessary investigations into the possibility of contamination spreading.
Quoted by the Tasnim news agency, the institution affirmed that no signs of a leak were detected.
The news agency noted that there is no danger to the residents living around the said sites.
Akbar Behnamjoo, governor of Qom province where the Fordow nuclear plant is located, made a similar statement. The Fordow facility is mostly located tens of meters underground.
