Equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, this unit will allow the treatment of children with mild congenital heart disease in the country’s rural areas.

The donation was formalized at a signing ceremony with the Cambodia-China Friendship Association in Phnom Penh.

Designed to perform pediatric surgical procedures, the mobile unit will arrive in Cambodia in late July.

Authorities hope it will become a vital resource for families in far away and poorly assisted regions, where access to pediatric cardiac care is limited.
