Grushko, who gave an interview to a national television channel, reiterated that this region has become a zone of intense military rivalry, which is very dangerous.
It is well known that we are taking all necessary measures to ensure our security and defense, the deputy minister affirmed.
The senior Russian diplomat added, “We have reestablished two military districts and signed security guarantees between Russia and Belarus, which enshrine the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus. We have also strengthened the capabilities of the fleet and the coast guard.”
So, we are fully prepared and will not allow NATO to plan power from the Baltic, Grushko concluded.
