According to the bulletin Informe Pastran, the initiative seeks to attract visitors from neighboring countries, inviting them to explore the rich cultural, natural and gastronomic offer of the nicknamed land of lakes and volcanoes.
The day before, at Honduras’ Coffee Institute in Tegucigalpa, authorities from the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism presented the campaign “Vive Nicaragua, your next destination”, aimed at tour operators and businessmen of that nation.
A message from the Nicaraguan entity on Facebook explained that the goal of this meeting was to promote tourism to Nicaragua and strengthen commercial ties between both countries.
As it was learned, to continue with this strategy, tomorrow Thursday the tour will move to the Mirador Plaza Hotel in San Salvador, El Salvador.
The Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism invites visitors to discover the authenticity of the Central American country, from its colonial cities and active volcanoes to its paradisiacal beaches and vibrant culture.
Official data state that Nicaragua reported US $510.9 million in tourism revenues in 2024, which represented 5.5 percent of the added value of its economy.
