According to the poll of Equipos Consultores, 44 percent of Uruguayans approve the management of the head of state, against 21 who disapprove it, a positive balance of 23 percent.
Orsi strengthens among his own voters and falls among the opposition, according to the pollster’s report.
Approval grows among frenteamplista voters (from 64 to 70 percent), and disapproval increases among the Republican Coalition electorate (from 25 to 37 percent).
In historical comparison with other presidents at the same level, Orsi is halfway between the three best evaluated presidents (Tabaré Vázquez 2005, José Mujica 2010 and Luis Lacalle Pou 2020), and the worst evaluated (Luis Lacalle Herrera 1990 and Julio María Sanguinetti 1995).
Consulting teams report that the sympathy towards Yamandú Orsi remains above the approval of his administration, with a gap of 10 percentage points.
