Under the motto Inspiring action, the event, which will be held at the Palacio de Computación in this capital, in the vicinity of the Fraternity Park, seeks to contribute to develop their skills for interaction with AI languages, research and critical thinking in this sector of the population.

It also aims to stimulate good practices and the exhibition of leading projects with training, highlights a press release from the United Nations System in Cuba, project leaders, which is also part of the activities on the Caribbean island for the 80th anniversary of the UN.

There will be also an exhibition fair with projects from the state and non-state sectors, which have evidenced a relevant leadership in the management of technologies, adds the text.

The space also provides for representatives of these initiatives to comment on lessons learned from their own experience, in order to promote them as a reference to efficiently generate AI solutions among participating organizations or individuals.

The AI fair will stimulate its ethical use, associating it, precisely, to solutions in favor of equity, and interacting critically with possible biases, stereotypes or discriminations reproduced by the languages of this tool, highlights the call.

A recent Artificial Intelligence Summit, sponsored by the International Telecommunication Union, emphasized the need for global collaboration to enhance responsible use of AI, as well as its role in strengthening governance models aimed at shortening the digital gap and empowering individuals and groups at risk of falling behind in the use of Information and Communications Technologies.
