In a message on his Telegram profile, the head of state stated that on “Children’s Day, we celebrate the sacred treasure they represent; they are our commitment: either there is a Homeland for children, or there is no Homeland for anyone!” he stated.
He affirmed that they are fighting to leave them a Venezuela of peace, life, opportunities, and a secure future, the perpetual and irreversible Homeland of which Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez spoke.
The president expressed that the priority is to guarantee their rights to health, education, and recreation, building a deeply humane society with values of solidarity, unity, and love.
I plead God for the strength to fulfill my life’s mission: that our youth grow up happy, well-educated, and with good examples, he emphasized.
“They are the future of the country, and we will continue working for them with all our hearts. Happy Day!” he remarked.
