Likewise, the Great Simon Bolivar Patriotic Pole will also be boosting until Sunday, the 37,000 projects that the country’s youth will vote on in the third National Popular Consultation of this year, which will take place on July 27.
The head of the Unified Command of the Bolivarian Revolution, Jorge Rodriguez, said at a press conference that this was a campaign carried out directly with the people, which began on July 11.
He commented that the ruling party candidates toured the streets, visited homes, and spoke with people to understand their needs and difficulties, in addition to sharing their hopes.
The political leader reaffirmed that the revolutionary and Chavista forces are running for the 335 mayoralties, 105 of which are currently in the hands of the opposition, because their candidates “are people who make decisions, who didn’t give up during hard times, fought against sanctions, and learned how to defeat them.”
Rodriguez emphasized that the July 27 elections will be the “expression of a new era” that the Venezuelan people deserve, for which they have fought on the path to recovery, prosperity, and well-being that Commander Hugo Chavez so nurtured and President Nicolas Maduro has so carefully nurtured.
The president of the National Electoral Council, Elvis Amoroso, announced on Sunday that the process will include 15,731 voting centers, of which 15,710 will be set up in parallel for the People’s Consultation.
In addition, 20,410 tables will be set up, of which 15,936 will be used for the national youth elections.
