The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that active operations by units of the Central battlegroup resulted in the occupation of the town of Novohrodivka in Donetsk.

The Defense Ministry’s statement adds that in the last 24 hours, enemy losses in the group’s line of operations amounted to 365 soldiers.

Ukrainian troops also lost 10 armored combat vehicles, five pickup trucks, 33 automobiles, 15 artillery pieces, 10 electronic warfare stations, and 15 ammunition depots, among others.

Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Russian forces have destroyed an estimated 664 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 71,722 unmanned aerial vehicles, 622 anti-aircraft missile systems, and 24,297 tanks and other armored vehicles.
