The images, captured by surveillance cameras and also by the perpetrators themselves, reveal serious human rights violations and possible war crimes committed during the clashes that occurred in the city of Sweida and other towns on the 15th and 16th of this month.
One of the most disturbing videos shows, with audio and images, the execution of seven civilians for sectarian reasons in Tishreen Square in the city of Sweida.
Among the victims is a Syrian citizen with American nationality.
Other recordings reveal scenes of mutilation of corpses for sectarian reasons.
According to human rights organizations, the execution of at least 196 Druze citizens has been documented, including 28 women and eight minors.
Reports have also been received of abuses committed by Druze armed elements against regular and security forces.
The Ministry of Defense’s Communications Department reported that it is following up on reports of violations committed by individuals dressed in military uniforms in Sweida.
