At an event in the city of Quilmes, in Buenos Aires province, led by the mayor of that suburban municipality, Mayra Mendoza, now one of the candidates vying for a seat in the legislature of that important province on September 7, Cristina spoke live from her house arrest to the attendees.
“Comrades, Mayra just told me that you are in a plenary session. It’s up to the activists, right? Of course. Organizing to go out and campaign in the streets for Peronism,” the former president expressed.
She called for intensified territorial work and harshly criticized the ruling party: “A lot of strength, a lot of power, because it’s needed so that these guys who are starving the people get what they deserve at the polls,” referring to Javier Milei’s administration.
“A big hug and let’s campaign as we always do: from the heart, with our heads, with our hearts, and with a lot of love as well. And with courage, the courage with which we always do so,” Cristina concluded with a moving message.
