Local press reports confirmed the deaths of at least six people in the raid, and all the attackers were neutralized.
The terrorist group Jaysh al-Dhulm claimed responsibility, adding to the ongoing unrest in Sistan and Baluchestan province.
According to Alireza Daliri, deputy commander of law enforcement in the province, members of the terrorist group, posing as customers, attempted to enter the Zahedan Judicial Department on Saturday morning.
Daliri added that two attackers died in a nearby street while trying to flee, and the third fell before detonating a grenade, which sadly killed several citizens, including a mother and a one-year-old child, the official lamented.
According to Tasnim, the attackers stormed the Zahedan courthouse and opened fire as soon as they entered.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Zahedan put the death toll at six and 22 others were injured in the attack, mostly civilians.
