According to the Cuban sports site Jit in its social network X, a total of 117 men and 114 women will attend the event in which they will compete most of the future of sport in the Caribbean island.
Sports such as wrestling, both free and greco-roman, athletics, judo, diving, canoeing, among others, will have a Cuban presence in order to keep the island in the regional elite in the youth category.
The previous day, the Cuban delegation was flagged in the Antonio Maceo Monumental Complex, in the province of Artemisa, which aims to improve the fifth place achieved in the first edition of Cali 2021 and to conquer new places towards the Pan American Games in Lima 2027.
