The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that 60 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Black Sea, 18 over the Voronezh region, seven over Belgorod, three over Bryansk, two over Kursk, and the remaining three over the Nizhny Novgorod and Krasnodar regions, and the Peninsula of Crimea.
Kranodar’s Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, in turn, informed that a tank containing petroleum products is on fire at an oil base in the Russian city of Sochi, due to a Ukrainian drone attack.
Meanwhile, the national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, reported that temporary flight restrictions have been imposed at the airports of Sochi (southwest) and Pskov (northwest) overnight Saturday into Sunday due to security reasons.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rear have become routine.
