According to the deputy head of the North-West Operational Command of Belarus, Pavel Shebeko, the maneuvers are aimed at practicing new ways and methods of using ground troops, based on the analysis of the latest modern military conflicts.

“Today we have arrived in the Republic of Belarus to participate in the joint strategic exercises West 2025.

Currently, the military alliance between Russia and Belarus is essential for the future development of our states, in view of the threats they pose”, stressed a statement from the General Staff of the Russian Army

With the start of the special military operation, these exercises have become a priority task.

A special feature of these manoeuvres is the maneuverability of the deployment of troops, the military entity noted, when it announced the arrival of Russian troops in Belarus.
