In this regard, authorities received the ninth group of Palestinian children to provide them with medical treatment, as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative, which includes 15 child patients, accompanied by 43 family members.
Despite persistent logistical and security challenges on the ground, the operation was carried out with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Since the launching of the initiative on March 4, the Hashemite Kingdom has evacuated a total of 439 people, including 134 patients and 303 accompanying persons.
The children will be admitted to high-level public and private hospitals for specialized medical care, before returning to Gaza upon completion of treatment, as planned by the program.
This initiative was announced by King Abdullah II on February 11 during a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, with the goal of treating 2,000 Palestinian children in several phases.
However, Jordanian authorities warned that the evacuation process continues to face serious obstacles due to WHO operational limitations, restrictions imposed by Israel, and difficult security conditions on the ground.
In parallel, Jordan has also coordinated the transfer of Gazan pediatric patients to other countries, within the framework of a broader international humanitarian assistance network.
