Hospitals in the territory recorded five deaths from this cause in the last 24 hours, including two minors, the official Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported.
The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen due to the siege and shortages of food and medical supplies, it warned.
Amid this situation, eight citizens were killed this Sunday in Israeli attacks on various areas of the coastal enclave, under fire since October 2023.
According to Wafa, four were killed after a drone strike in the southern city of Khan Yunis and two more were shot by soldiers near the so-called Netzarim axis.
Several citizens waiting for aid were also killed, and many were injured by Israeli fire in southern Khan Yunis, he said.
According to official data, since the start of the Israeli war against the Strip 22 months ago, more than 61,000 Palestinians have lost their lives there and nearly 153,000 have been injured.
