The 39-year-old politician was shot on June 7 in Fontibón, west of this capital, while giving a campaign speech.

Despite numerous surgeries, his neurological prognosis has remained confidential ever since.

At the beginning of last week, the Colombian Public Prosecutor’s Office formally accused the under-15s of shooting the politician.

So far, six persons have been arrested in connection with the attack, four of whom are being held at the premises of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
