The documents signed included memoranda of understanding on cooperation in science and technology, copyright and related rights, renewable energy, and the sending and receiving of workers from both countries.
Agreements in banking, stock market, education, fisheries, human resource development in the nuclear energy sector, and enhancing cooperation between the People’s Committee of the Vietnamese city of Da Nang and the Pyeongtaek city government were also signed.
To Lam arrived in Vietnam on Sunday for a state visit that will last until August 13.
According to the official view, it will contribute to strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries and open up new opportunities for cooperation.
Shortly after his arrival, the visitor met with members of Vietnam’s diplomatic mission here, and representatives of the Vietnamese community residing in this nation, and attended the unveiling ceremony of the bust built in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the Embassy.
He emphasized the special significance of this event, which takes place on the 135th anniversary of the hero of Vietnamese independence and at a time when the country is preparing to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution on August 19 and National Day on September 2.
