Opened at Jose Marti Memorial on Monday, the 50-snapshot exhibition returns with deep sensitivity to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, sometimes amid smiles and crowds, other times with the complicity of his hands and thoughts.

I try to convey his life and personality as a leader and statesman, as well as the person behind that leader, the renowned photographer, son of the Commander-in-Chief, stated in an exclusive interview with Prensa Latina.

It seeks to capture a simple and natural man, one who always went to meet with his people and sought to solve every problem, speaking with them naturally.

He communicated with people to get information that did not reach him, and that is what I try to show, the artist said.

The exhibition perpetuates the desire of someone who preserves the guidance of a father and the many encounters Fidel held with figures from the political, artistic, and cultural spheres.

Fidel, su humanismo y grandeza bajo el lente de Alex Castro

La Habana, 12 ago (Prensa Latina) Un mar de pueblo pareciera inclinarse hoy ante la historia, ante la grandeza de un ser humano tan cálido y nuestro como promete la exposición fotográfica «Toda la gloria del mundo», del artista del lente Alex Castro.

En 50 instantáneas, la muestra, inaugurada la víspera en el Memorial José Martí, devuelve con profunda sensibilidad al líder histórico de la Revolución cubana, Fidel Castro, a veces entre sonrisas y multitudes, otras con la complicidad de sus manos y pensamientos.

Intento transmitir su vida y su personalidad como líder y estadista, también la persona detrás de ese líder, declaró en entrevista exclusiva para Prensa Latina el reconocido fotógrafo, hijo del Comandante en Jefe.

Procura reflejar a un hombre sencillo y natural, aquel que acudía siempre al encuentro con su pueblo y buscaba solucionar cada problema, que conversaba con la gente con naturalidad.

Se comunicaba con las personas para nutrirse de las informaciones que no llegaban a él, y eso es lo que intento mostrar, significó.

La exposición perpetúa el deseo de quien conserva la guía de un padre y los múltiples encuentros que sostuvo Fidel con personalidades del ámbito político, artístico y cultural.
