Marco Papacci, president of this solidarity organization, told Prensa Latina that among the most significant events are those held by the ANAIC circle in Rome, as well as those in Valle di Susa, Turin, Collegno, Giaveno, Cuneo, Asti, Novara, and Alessandria, in the Piedmont region.
An audiovisual material dedicated to Fidel was also prepared, hosted by Walter Persello, a member of the Anaic national secretariat, with interviews with Bice Parodi and Maria Merlini, secretaries of his circles in Genoa and Catania, respectively.
The material was presented the day before on the ItaliaxCuba YouTube channel.
This Wednesday, the Piedmontese representatives of the association will climb Fidel Peak, on Mount Arpone in the Italian Alps, where a tribute will be paid to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution in front of the monument erected there in his memory, Papacci added.
