“Fidel Castro demonstrated the immeasurable value of solidarity and international cooperation for the common good. Cuban medical cooperation is a direct result of his vocation and legacy, which has restored hope to millions of families around the world,” the statement stated.
His active defense of peace, multilateralism, determination, and the sovereignty of peoples are also highlighted.
