According to the organizers, the Provincial Directorate of Culture, the Company of Recordings and Musical Editions (EGREM), and other institutions, the event will reach about 20 cultural spaces in this small city 64 kilometers from Havana until this Sunday.

On this occasion, a tribute will be paid to local singer-songwriter Valentin Puentes (82 years old) for his renowned artistic career spanning more than 65 years and for being considered an example and guide for several generations of Cuban guitarists and tres players.

The event’s program includes concerts, workshops, and heritage tours, and will bring together a wide variety of initiatives related to the culture and traditions of one of the youngest provinces in the country.
