Medical sources reported that six people were killed, including four children, and numerous others were injured this morning after an air strike on a home in the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
The official news agency Wafa reported that a couple died in a similar incident targeting a tent housing displaced persons in the Mawasi al-Qarara area.
Wafa stated that one fisherman was killed and another was wounded when an Israeli warship opened machine gun fire on a fishing boat off the coast of the coastal enclave.
For its part, Al Jazeera television reported “incessant Israeli bombings” in recent hours against various areas in Gaza as the army prepares for a major military offensive.
Specifically, in statements to the news outlet, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal reported that the military systematically opens fire on relief teams trying to reach the wounded.
