In its usual update on military operations, the military ministry confirmed this Saturday on its Telegram channel that the Western Army Group, following effective offensive actions, captured the town of Kolodezi in Donetsk.

The military ministry also reported that after active and decisive actions by units of the Eastern Army Group, the town of Voronoe in the Ukrainian province of Dnipropetrovsk was captured.

The Russian agency estimated the number of casualties suffered by the Ukrainian army in the area of the special military operation at around 1,315 during the past day.

According to the latest report from the military, the Center group of troops inflicted the greatest number of enemy casualties, more than 400 personnel, followed by the West group, with up to 230 killed.

The South group caused more than 220 casualties; in the East group’s line of operations, Ukraine lost more than 215 personnel; in the North group, more than 170; and in the Dnieper group, more than 80.

The Ukrainian Army also lost 14 armored combat vehicles, 45 vehicles, 14 artillery pieces, 15 electronic warfare stations, and 20 ammunition depots.

In addition, Russian air defense intercepted five guided bombs, one projectile from the US Himars rocket launcher, and 169 unmanned aerial vehicles.
