The Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed this on the social network X, on the occasion of the 123rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the European country.

Cuba and Belgium established diplomatic relations on August 18, 1902, and have since maintained a good bilateral relationship based on mutual respect.

Brussels has consistently supported the resolution presented by Cuba before the United Nations (UN) General Assembly demanding an end to the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States, which has persisted for more than six decades.
