The military institution specified that eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Tambov region, five over the Sea of Azov, two over the Black Sea, two over Rostov, and one over the Kursk, Voronezh, and Krasnodar territories and the Peninsula of Crimea.
The Defense Ministry, which did not specify the targets of the Ukrainian attacks, stated that no casualties or significant material damage were reported.
The national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, informed that temporary flight restrictions have been imposed on the last day at the airports of Tambov and Voronezh, to ensure passenger safety.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rearguard have become routine.
