Havana, Aug 23 (Prensa Latina) President Miguel Diaz-Canel and other authorities sent on Saturday congratulations to Cuban women on the 65th anniversary of the Cuban Women's Federation (FMC).

On his X profile, Diaz-Canel highlighted Cuban women’s dedication to their shared work and creative resilience.

“Congratulations, dear comrades, for this revolution within the Revolution that you are leading,” the president wrote on the platform.

National People’s Power Assembly (Parliament) President Esteban Lazo also expressed his congratulations to the FMC members and highlighted their dedication and commitment to the Homeland’s leading tasks.

On the same platform, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez referred to the FMC’s achievements under the legacy of its founder, Vilma Espin, in the full exercise of women’s equality in all spheres of society.
