Medicine warehouses are empty as a result of the Israeli siege, pharmacist Dhu al-Fiqar Suwairjo told the Safa news agency.
Now there is nothing left to provide to patients and the wounded, the specialist said.
He noted that anyone who falls ill in the coastal enclave is doomed to suffer, even die.
“There are no more medicines for chronic illnesses such as hypertension or diabetes, nor antibiotics, painkillers, thyroid medications, or skin creams,” he stressed.
Suwairjo believes that the Israeli blockade policy seeks to transform Gaza into a living hell to force its inhabitants to flee.
Pharmacist Hossam Al-Madhoun also confirmed the crisis in the sector as a result of the neighboring country’s war effort.
He noted that no medicine has entered the Gaza Strip since last March, when a truce that began in January ended.
He said the Israeli ban on the entry of medicines is a death sentence for many patients and the wounded, such as those suffering from hypertension and diabetes.
