With the opening of Josone Park, venue for musical performances, at 20:00 hours (local time), the crowd will begin to gather at the venue, where five performances will take place.
The historic band Moncada will open the musical event. At the same time, El Hijo de Teresa y la Llegada, David Torrens, Candido Fabre y su banda, and Velito el Bufon will complete Monday’s performances.
Nearly 40 groups from several musical genres will bring their art, from this Monday to August 31, to the attendees at this fifth edition under the slogan “Mira Como Vengo” (Look How I Come), which also gives title to the latest album by Isaac Delgado, a leading figure of the Festival.
Varadero Josone is also a tribute to the best of our musical identity, a perfect union of classical and contemporary music, Delgado recently stated when speaking about the event, which for the first time will last a week.
Artists such as Alain Perez y su Orquesta, Alexander Abreu y Havana De’Primera, David Blanco, Haila, JG, Maykel Blanco y Salsa Mayor, Muñequitos de Matanzas, Rumbata, Wampi, Yomil, and Charly and Johayron, among others, will perform at the Festival from Tuesday to Sunday.
