The issues, primarily renewable energy, focused a meeting between Djiboutian Energy Minister in charge of Natural Resources, Yonis Ali Guedi, and Mohamed Mdarhri, Charge d’Affaires at the Moroccan Embassy in this capital.
The two sides also discussed the concentrated solar power (CSP) project, an innovative technology promoted by the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy that is expected to be deployed in this East African country.
The newspaper underscored that the initiative is part of the shared desire to develop sustainable energy solutions capable of meeting the growing needs of the population while respecting climate commitments.
Other issues discussed included the prospects for direct collaboration between the Djibouti Electricity Company and the Moroccan National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE).
This technical cooperation aims to promote the exchange of specialized knowledge, optimize resource management, and strengthen local capacities in the field of clean energy.
