Local sources informed that the attack was preceded by intense reconnaissance flights in the area, while Israeli drones and fighter jets blocked access to the targeted area.
This is the second operation in less than 24 hours against the strategic mountain of Jabal al-Manea, near Al-Kiswah.
A day earlier, Israeli fighter jets attacked a site containing spying and listening devices that Syrian forces were trying to dismantle. Several soldiers were killed in that action.
SANA, citing government sources, confirmed that Syrian soldiers were targeted by shelling while dismantling spy devices.
The news agency added that the Israeli offensive resulted in fatalities, injuries, and the destruction of several vehicles.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the airstrike, describing it as a flagrant violation of national sovereignty, international law, and the United Nations Charter.
