During the meeting, Xi Jinping emphasized that both peoples fought side by side in the war against militarism and fascism.
He stressed that the two countries made significant contributions to the victory and forged a profound friendship during that historical period.
He also noted that the world is undergoing an accelerated transformation unseen in a century and indicated that humanity is once again at a crossroads.
He advocated for the strengthening of genuine multilateralism, while reaffirming the common commitment to peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit on the international stage.
For his part, Lukashenko praised “the enormous changes China has undergone in recent years. The entire society is in order and organized.”
He acknowledged the Asian giant’s experience in public policy and state system, and considered it a model worthy of study and learning for other countries.
