“On a day like today in 1960, hundreds of thousands of Cubans gathered in the Revolution Square to support the First Declaration of Havana. It was a sovereign response and a proclamation before the world of the principles of the Revolution,” he wrote on the social network X.
For his part, the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales, alluded to the historic event and affirmed that its postulates are extremely valid today.
The First Declaration of Havana, ratified at the National General Assembly of the Cuban People, revealed the feelings of the revolutionaries in the voice of their maximum leader, Fidel Castro Ruz.
With it, Cubans confirmed their willingness to work and fight for the future of the peoples of America.
Remembered among the transcendental events of our history, the event unveils one of the greatest demonstrations of support for Fidel and the nascent Revolution.
