The museum is dedicated to preserving and disseminating the history of the organization that has led China on the path to socialism with its unique characteristics, and houses more than 2,600 images, 3,500 objects, and pieces that demonstrate this nation’s development.

It “narrates the founding of the Party, the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, the reform, opening, and development of socialism, the construction of a prosperous society, and the path toward modernization. It combines digital resources and works of great historical value,” the Cuban Presidency stated on its X profile.

“The mobilizing force of this Party, which currently brings together more than 100 million members, is powerfully displayed there, and it is a benchmark for Cuba,” Diaz-Canel wrote at the end of his tour.

The Cuban head of State added, “Only from socialist ideas of development with social justice, we can explain China’s achievements and its policy of a community with a shared future, which extends the benefits of its progress to less developed nations.”
