At least 204 educational institutions were completely destroyed, including 190 schools and 14 universities, while another 305 were partially damaged, the news outlet reported, which based its analysis on data from the United Nations Satellite Information Office.
According to the study, the cities of Gaza (north), Khan Yunis, and Rafah (south) were the most affected.
It noted that hundreds of schools were transformed into shelters for months, overcrowded by tens of thousands of displaced people, which completely paralyzed the school year.
The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education reported this week that the Israeli armed forces have killed 18,651 students and injured 29,114 in the occupied territories since the outbreak of the current cycle of violence in October 2023.
In its latest report on the issue, it stated that 18,508 students lost their lives in the Gaza Strip and another 28,142 were injured. Meanwhile, in the West Bank, the number rose to 142 and 972, respectively.
It detailed that at least 972 teachers and staff members died in Israeli attacks in both territories, while another 4,538 were injured and 199 were arrested.
