The event will be held from September 20-22 in Shanghai and 550 guests from more than 300 institutions are expected to take part, China’s Ministry of Science and Technology announced.
This year’s edition is themed “Sharing Innovation and Shaping the Future: Building a Global Community of Open and Cooperative Science and Technology.”
According to local authorities, the event will feature an opening ceremony, a main forum and 30 thematic forums.
It will also include five major activities: the InnoMatch technology transfer conference, the WeStart venture capital investment conference, and symposia for young scientists and top international talent.
Belarus will co-host a series of events to showcase cooperation in scientific and technological innovation between the two nations.
The forum will address the integration of scientific and industrial innovation, and the reform of the science and technology system.
More than 30 thematic and closed meetings will be held on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence for science and quantum technology.
