In particular, companies of this type from Latin America are attracted by the natural beauty of this archipelago and its experience organizing meetings of this kind.
The event, scheduled for September 29 to October 5, will cover the western region of the country, including the provinces of Havana, Mayabeque, Artemisa, and Pinar del Río, and will showcase a current panorama that includes private estates that are responsible for nature tourism while also producing.
Opportunistically, the head of the Events Group at the Ecotur Travel Agency, Francisco Longino, explained that this is an important event for a recreational activity that is on the rise worldwide.
For the occasion, experts from Spain, Portugal, Panama, Brazil, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, and Argentina will attend, where they will socialize with their Cuban counterparts.
Additionally, experts from France, Italy, Australia, China, Germany, and Saint Vincent are invited.
Organized by the Ministry of Tourism, in conjunction with Ecotur, this meeting is highly anticipated, due to a tradition expressed in gatherings called the International Nature Tourism Event (Turnat), which takes place every two years in a different Cuban province.
