Miroshnik, who is the Russian Foreign Ministry’s commissioner for crimes committed by Ukrainian military personnel, stated that the regional elections in 81 territorial entities of the Russian Federation were the main political event held last week.
With the elections as a backdrop, the number of daily attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilian facilities in Russian territory exceeded 530, the highest so far this year, Miroshnik noted on his weekly report.
The commissioner also mentioned the attacks on educational centers in several towns in the Donetsk Republic, as well as in the Rostov and Zaporozhye regions.
Fortunately, there were no child casualties, but two employees were injured.
The diplomat estimated that Ukrainian troops fired at least 3,738 artillery shells of many calibers at Russian civilian facilities in one week and actively used combat drones, mines, grenades, and small arms.
Last week’s attacks killed seven people and injured 108, including four children.
