“The Israeli occupation committed atrocious massacres against our people in Gaza City, through a scorched earth policy and fire belts targeting residential areas and shelters,” the leftist formation denounced in a statement.
These attacks resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people, mostly children and women, while many others are still missing under the rubble, it stressed.
The PFLP criticized statements by the neighboring country’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, who rejoiced when saying “Gaza is burning”.
Those comments embody the policy of genocide that nation has been practicing against our people for decades, and are a clear expression of “the agenda of these criminal murderers who thirst for the blood of children and innocents,” he said.
The Front condemned the position of President Donald Trump’s administration by pointing out that it maintains its military, diplomatic and economic support to its main ally in the Middle East.
