Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa assured that the document will be distributed “to all our missions and embassies around the world, so that it may serve as a tangible example of Bolivia’s cultural and tourist wealth.”
For his part, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Integration Huáscar Ajata explained that the work represents a major contribution to the “smokeless” activity, which in 2024 generated revenues of $740 million and attracted nearly one million travelers.
In this regard, the deputy minister highlighted the work of tour guides, hoteliers, transporters, artisans, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs in the sector.
He indicated that they find in this sector not only a livelihood, but also a source of progress and hope for their families.
The document highlights the geographical location of the 18 prioritized tourist destinations, the climate, information on air and land connectivity, and what type of visas are required to enter Bolivia.
