The activist stressed that “as mothers and relatives of military personnel, we stressed that wars bring chaos, destruction, and death.”
“It jurts that from the lands stolen from Puerto Rico by the US armed forces other sister nations have been invaded, such as Guatemala in 1954, the Dominican Republic in 1965, Grenada in 1983, and Panama in 1989, all bloody wars,” said Santiago Hernandez.
She remembered that in Panama, during that aggression, more than 4,000 people died, which is why it is important “not to say that there is a single Puerto Rican soldier willing to invade any sister country, including Venezuela.”
