The commitment to the Homeland and the daily fulfillment of the tasks are the best consideration and contribution to celebrate “100 Years with Fidel,” Ambassador Susellys Perez Mesa emphasized.
The ambassador acknowledged the outstanding work of the 14th Brigade during the recent period, highlighted by the Cuban Public Health Ministry (MINSAP) during the Annual Meeting of Medical Contingent Directors held in Havana in July.
The event served as an opportunity to introduce the new members of the current team, led by Dr. Maria Eugenia Garcia, who works in six hospitals in Bulawayo and Harare, two major cities in this nation.
Perez Mesa referred to elements of the annual report on the impact of the US blockade over the last year, as well as the upcoming vote at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for the 33rd time on the resolution demanding its immediate lifting.
Participants reiterated their strong rejection of this hostile policy by Washington, which they view as the main cause hindering the country’s development and economic and social recovery.
