On several Instagram profiles and via cellphones from different vessels, they reported that in the early hours of the morning, for almost three hours, multiple drones launched attacks with sound bombs, some of which hit sailboats in the convoy.

Luna Valentina, aboard the ship she was traveling on, reported that the situation became tense due to the dangerous maneuvers of the unmanned vessels and the explosion of explosive devices, so safety protocols had to be activated, including wearing life jackets in case of a possible attack and attempts to sink the boats.

Another crew member, Carlos Copio, a Mexican activist, reported that the harassment actions included intercepting and obstructing communications to create navigation difficulties.

In his Instagram broadcast, Copio read a message circulated among the participants in which it was mentioned that although there were no injuries on the seven vessels targeted with explosives, it was evident that the pattern of attacks was intended to generate fear.

In their broadcasts, the crew members denied the Israeli government’s attempts to distort the nature of the Flotilla, citing possible links to political or military institutions and organizations, and reaffirmed that this is a humanitarian convoy composed solely of civilians whose objective is to break the blockade of medicine and food and bring aid to Gaza.

Finally, they reiterated the call to the world’s governments to stand in solidarity with the Flotilla and demand respect from the Israeli government and refrain from taking violent actions against it.
