According to the senior official, “Novorossiysk was the target of a horrendous attack by the Kiev regime. Drones attacked the city center in the middle of the day. They attacked the heart of the city, near the Novorossiysk Hotel, which, left two people killed,” the senior official reported on his Telegram channel.
Local operational services reported that six people were injured, including a minor. All of them were taken to a hospital.
In addition, five residential buildings, including apartment buildings, and a hotel were damaged as a result of the attack, Kondratiev said.
The official added that the mayor of Novorossisk had been ordered to provide all necessary assistance to those affected and assured that all city services are on high alert.
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) reported that its office in Novorossisk also suffered damage during the attack, leaving two employees with varying degrees of serious injuries.
It was also reported that other victims who were not company employees were in the building.
