The National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP) reports that in the latest working period, “the scope of ten general objectives was specified, together with the schedule for the implementation of specific goals, as well the update of the actions for the months from September to December.”

Likewise, the global model and guidelines for the development of the Economic Plan and the State Budget for 2026 were approved, and progress has been made in the process of updating and certifying municipal development strategies.

Marrero emphasized that “Meetings will be held with all provincial councils during October and November to review their implementation,” as well as the update of Government Program proposal, including the public version, which was finalized in compliance with the suggestions made during the debate on this topic at the July session of Parliament.

Regarding the more than 70 proposals received as part of the debate to evaluate the implementation and impact of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy, he noted that all have been duly assessed, and a discussion meeting is planned with these deputies, along with the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs, with a view to continuing to strengthen this important program.

The decree-law regulating Law 170 of the System of Honorary Titles and Decorations of the Republic of Cuba was approved at the regular session of the Council of State.

The members of this body also evaluated the publication status of the laws approved by the ANPP in recent legislative sessions, their complementary provisions, and reviewed the agreements adopted by the Council of State in its previous meetings.
