In its 29th edition, the event celebrates on its opening day the International Tourism Day, with the Secretary General-elect of UN Tourism, Shaika Nasser Al-Nowais, and other relevant authorities of the sector as the central figure.
Al-Nowais will also preside over the International Meeting “Women leading the tourism of the future”, known as Femtur, a key space for reflection and commitment on the role and contribution that women can make to the travel industry.
The Fair will bring together the main destinations, operators and leaders of the tourism industry, offering visitors and professionals a unique space to discover the latest trends, do business and live immersive experiences that showcase the best of national and international tourism.
Portugal is the guest of honor. The Portuguese ambassador, Gonzalo Teles Gomes, anticipated that the Portuguese delegation wishes to show a modern and innovative, but always faithful to its roots and its people.
