Attached to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the institution called to provide international protection for the population of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and ensure the implementation of United Nations resolutions on the issue.

“Ending the occupation and allowing our people to exercise their inalienable rights to freedom and independence is necessary,” the PNC affirmed in a statement marking Palestinian Flag Day this Monday.

It underscored that our flag is no longer just a national symbol of our people, but a global flag raised by free people and defenders of justice everywhere.

It asserted that the flag has won the hearts of millions of people around the world and has become a testament to the justice of our cause and a symbol of human dignity.

The Council noted that it has also become an “invincible symbol that defeated the arrogance and tyranny of the Israeli occupation.”
